Tom Truitt, Music Business Expert, Joins TurnkeyZRG as Managing Director
Rochelle Park, NJ, September 23, 2021 – TurnkeyZRG, a 25-year-old talent recruitment and executive search firm, announces the addition of Tom Truitt as Managing Director – Music & Live Entertainment. TurnkeyZRG joined ZRG, a New Jersey-based global executive search firm, in January 2021. Based in Nashville, Tom will focus on placing senior-level executives across the entertainment industry, including music, technology, gaming, and eSports.
An accomplished business development and sales management professional, Tom has nearly three decades of experience and a track record of consistent top performance. He currently runs WHO KNEW, a popular networking event which regularly draws 500-plus attendees and invites entertainment industry executives to share stories, wisdom, and industry predictions. In addition, he launched “The Smartest People in the Room,” an hour-long webinar series, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before these successful ventures, Tom founded MusicRowSearch, a music industry-focused headhunting firm, in 2007. In 2017, MusicRowSearch merged with Buffkin-Baker, a retained search firm with seven offices across the US. As a Partner with Buffkin-Baker, Tom managed the firm’s entertainment group; his core clients spanned concert/festival promoters, streaming platforms, record labels, publishers, PROs, production companies, venues, ticketing companies, experiential agencies, and music tech.
