Sucherman Group, a ZRG Company, Appoints Veteran Melissa Ortiz as Managing Director

Rochelle Park, NJ, June 24, 2022 – Melissa Ortiz has been named Managing Director at Sucherman, a leading media and entertainment advisory firm and a division of ZRG. Melissa is charged with building the company’s consulting and recruitment business in Latin America and the Iberia region while helping to expand the company’s client service capabilities around the world. With nearly 20 years executive search experience across global markets, Melissa is based in Miami and reports to Sucherman CEO Erik Sorenson.

Melissa has worked with Fortune 500 companies in the US, Latin America, and Europe, most recently as the Founder and CEO of boutique talent advisory firm Sapphire Recruiters.  Having spent her early career in the banking industry, she has lived and worked around the world, including New York, Chicago, Miami, Rome, and London. Fluent in Spanish and Italian, Melissa earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pace University and an International MBA from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
