ZRG’s Consumer and Private Equity Practices Expand with Addition of Dan Searby
Rochelle Park, NJ, January 14, 2021 – ZRG, named the fastest-growing global executive search firm in 2020, welcomes Dan Searby as Managing Director. Working in the New York City office, he brings 15 years of executive search experience to the firm’s Consumer and Private Equity practice groups.
Before joining ZRG, Dan led senior-level search work for The Elliot Group and Herbert Mines Associates. Over this time, he amassed extensive restaurant industry expertise and built long-term relationships in the foodservice and restaurant sectors. Dan has conducted search engagements in the broader CPG, hospitality, retail, consumer services, and foodservice manufacturing spaces as well.
Across his executive recruiting career, Dan has conducted numerous CEO and President-level searches. In the last ten years, more than three-quarters of his searches have been at the C-suite level across all functions, and 71% have been conducted on behalf of private equity or private capital portfolio companies.
Dan’s career prior to search was spent in the consumer and retail/foodservice sectors as well. He started with the Coca-Cola Company, where his tenure of more than 15 years culminated in a role overseeing the Northeastern National Accounts (foodservice) team. Later, Dan was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Restaurant Associates/Patina Group, a $250 million New York-based restaurant operator and Compass Group subsidiary.
