ZRG Expands Higher Education Practice with Karen McDaniel, Ph.D.
Rochelle Park, NJ, September 14, 2022 – ZRG, a global talent advisory firm which has seen tremendous growth in recent years, welcomes Karen McDaniel, Ph.D. as Managing Director. Karen is based in Arkansas and joins the Higher Education Practice, having held numerous positions such as Faculty Athletics Representative, Director of Graduate Programs, and Department Chair.
Across her two-plus decades of higher education experience, Karen has been a part of both athletic and academic search committees, helping to place Chancellors, Directors of Athletics Compliance, Directors of Hospitality, and other significant faculty and administrative positions. She brings a strong background in human resource management, organizational behavior, leadership development, and mathematics. Karen earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from University of Memphis as well as her BSBA and MBA from Union University.
While at Arkansas State University, Karen received the College of Business Excellence in Graduate Teaching award as well as the College of Business Excellence in External Service award, which she was recognized with three times. In addition, her graduate leadership development course received Signature Course Distinction from the University. Karen has been published in top-tier management journals as well as presented at many academic conferences. Before joining Arkansas State University, she held Assistant Professor of Management positions at both University of Tennessee at Martin and Radford University.
