Rob Wolgemuth is a Managing Director at ZRG Partners. Rob has experience leading search projects for Board Directors, CEOs, and other senior-level executives for many global diversified industrial and industrial distribution organizations. He has broad experience working as a search consultant for publicly traded, family- owned, and private equity-owned enterprises. Rob began his career as a management consultant; focused on human performance and change management.
In his current role, with ZRG Partners, Rob is entering his thirteenth year as an executive recruiter. With experience leading search and talent management assignments on behalf of industrial clients across a range of financial structures, from Fortune 500 publicly traded companies to smaller private equity and family-owned enterprises. Rob takes a hands-on approach to facilitate organizational and human capital change. Rob is passionate about finding the very best talent based on his client's needs.
Prior to joining ZRG, Rob was co-founder and managing member of an asset management firm named Insight Investments, LLC for nine years. He began his career in management consulting with Accenture, where he worked for six years. During his tenure at Accenture, he worked as an executive within the Change Management practice. Rob led large-scale organizational change projects paired with digital/technology transformations for clients including Allstate, State Farm, CNA, and Amoco (now BP).
Rob is active in the community both in non-profit and civic organizations. He volunteers significant time coaching his kids in various youth sports programs, including lacrosse, which he played in college. Rob and his family lived in the Nashville, TN area until recently relocating to back to the Chicago area, where they are from originally. In the past, Rob has volunteered his time serving on the City of Wheaton (IL) Liquor and Tobacco Control Commission, as well as several non-profit and church-related boards.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Wheaton College (IL).
