Mark Hewitt joined ZRG in 2021 as a Director within the UK and Europe Interim Practice. He is also a member of the Industrial and Life Sciences practices. Mark is an established interim consultant focused on placing senior Finance, Transformation, and HR consultants.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining ZRG, Mark was Head of Interim for the CFO practice at Pure Search. He has nearly ten years of interim recruitment experience with eight years of that at Investigo, and just under two at Pure Search.
Areas of Expertise
He has worked across all industries but focused on Industrial and life sciences, senior finance, transformation, and HR roles. He typically works on day rates above £600 & Fixed Term Contracts of £120K+. Mark has opened many new accounts through business development. However, he is most proud of when a business or individual he has not dealt with reaches out to him since they have heard about his good work through mutual contacts.
Mark is genuinely passionate about delivering high value, high quality interim solutions for early-stage startups to established PLC's. He prides himself on being able offer unbiased guidance to businesses or individuals that have not previously hired interims.
Education
Mark holds a BA Honors degree in Business Administration from Swansea University. He received A levels in Economics, Geography & Biology. He also fulfilled a short-term commission as an Officer in the Infantry before attending the university and served in the reserves whilst at university.
Hobbies and Interests
Aside from spending time with his young family, Mark enjoys going to the gym, road cycling, and mountain biking. His main passion however is cars. He really enjoys spending time driving, repairing, and improving his old Porsche 911, as well as the social aspects of car events and meets.
