Lan Nguyen is a member of the Financial Services team at ZRG, with experience recruiting for clients in insurance, banking, corporate finance, brokerage/securities, consumer finance, FinTech, and beyond in related business services. Throughout her career, she has placed Board members and management committee-level executives as well as mid-level leaders who have been subsequently promoted, including to the C-suite. Seeking out high-impact, game-changing talent, Lan is a passionate advocate dedicated and determined to bring companies talent that matters.
Prior to joining ZRG, Lan was a Partner at Ward Howell International, a global executive search firm. Before that, she was a Managing Director leading financial services searches with a female-owned boutique firm, known for their diversity and inclusion search approach and solid track record of candidate presentations and placements reflecting diversity.
Earlier in her career, Lan was a Washington, DC, lawyer, serving clients in complex disputes including trials and investigations, antitrust matters, and damages, particularly those involving the federal government.

Lan holds a JD from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and a BS in International Relations from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Having come to the United States as a refugee, Lan is committed to human rights, and given her education, she also has a strong interest in international affairs. She enjoys global travel and, as a "maker," delights in figuring out how things work.
