Hugo has broad experience managing world-class organizations and leading team efforts in commercial management areas within the Industrial and Consumer industries, focusing on Consumer Goods, Automotive, Energy, Chemicals, and Diversified Manufacturing.
He recently co-founded The Morphing Group LLC, a business transformation advisory firm with a presence in the Americas Region and Europe, for which he acts as the Managing Partner in LATAM.
Throughout his career in the search industry, he has built a solid reputation as a trusted consultant offering conceptual and strategic market-based thinking as well as value-add to his clients.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining ZRG, Hugo was a Senior Client Partner, Industrial and Advisory leader as well as the Office Managing Director at Korn Ferry’s Monterrey office. Previously, he worked at Mexichem (now Orbia) as Global Director for the Pipes and Fittings Business; at Vitro SAB, de CV as President and CEO; at Parmalat as General Manager, responsible for the Mexican operations; at S.C. Johnson & Son as Strategic Business Unit Manager; and at Grupo Christianson, responsible for National Sales.
In addition, he has participated in several associations and boards, including the Board of Regal Forest, Quality Post, Union de Crédito para la Contaduría Pública (UNICCO), Grupo Prez, Cervecería Centro Americana, Endeavor, and the Nuevo Leon State Board of Clusters.
Education
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at La Universidad La Salle, Hugo obtained a master’s degree in International Business and Business Administration from ITESM. Further, Hugo has completed several courses in leadership and effective management.

Hugo’s hobbies include cycling, running, and golf. He also enjoys watching movies and TV series.
