Donald Friedman joined ZRG’s Healthcare Practice as Managing Director in 2024. Donald is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning healthcare, recruitment, and consulting services. With over 25 years of experience, he has made significant contributions in permanent retained physician search, particularly excelling in business development.
Prior to ZRG, Donald's career trajectory led him through various roles, including 5 years in consulting focused on Medical Staff Development and Physician & Community Needs Assessments. He spent a significant portion of his career, eleven years to be exact, at Curative Talent, LLC, where he specialized in retained physician search and physician executive search.
Donald spent four years serving as a Partner at Curative Executive and Academic Search, where he excelled at providing executive and leadership talent acquisition solutions. He has a proven track record of exceeding annual sales targets and driving substantial growth, as evidenced by his success in growing healthcare consulting services sales.
Donald earned his bachelor’s degree in business followed by a master’s degree in business and marketing, all from LSU.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Donald is an avid supporter of LSU and Dallas sports, he can be found attending football games at LSU and closely following the local sports scene. He is an animal lover and he and his wife have rescued six Chinese Chows over the years, including their most recent additions, Mai and Tai, whom they rescued and welcomed into their home during the Pandemic.
