Becky is a Partner and Co-Head of Affordable Housing and Impact Investing at Terra Search Partners. Over the past 30 years she has worked in the commercial real estate industry as a lender, leader of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) and developing strategies to bring new capital to multifamily affordable housing developers and opportunity to low-income and underserved communities through new social enterprises.

Most recently, she served as Chief Innovation Officer, EVP and President, Capital Markets at Housing Partnership Network (HPN), a national network of the country’s leading mission-driven nonprofit CDFIs and affordable housing developers, where she led all aspects of capital raising from 2011-2020. Her prior experience includes senior leadership positions at large financial institutions, including Bank of America.

Becky played an integral role in raising capital for the nation’s first social venture REIT- the Housing Partnership Equity Trust- which brought ownership opportunities for the largest non-profit affordable housing developers across the U.S. to acquire, own, and operate Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing.

During her career, Becky has held executive leadership positions at financial institutions and 50-plus employee non-profit organizations and had multiple responsibilities including strategy, budget, human resources, debt, equity and grant capital raising, and board engagement.

Early experience working on housing rehabilitation in Appalachia formed her desire to bring her education in finance and improving under-served communities to her career and board participation over the past 30 years.  She has worked to raise capital and create structures to keep people safely housed, low-income girls educated and toward environmental sustainability and justice.  She currently sits on the board of the Boston Impact Initiative, a fund focused on economic justice and investing in opportunity for all members of local economies, Community Health Center Capital Fund, and New Ecology, Inc., a mission-driven non-profit seeking to address global environmental and equity issues by making the built environment more efficient, healthy, durable, and resilient.

Becky earned a BSBA in finance and international management from Boston University and an MBA from Babson College.
