Andy Talkington is a Managing Director at ZRG Partners. With more than 18 years of executive recruitment experience, Andy has conducted over 450 searches for private equity, venture capital and small to large private and public companies in all global regions. His search practice has been concentrated in placing top executives in Board of Director, CEO and executive-level management positions within the broad industrial sector (agriculture, chemicals, energy, EPC, general manufacturing, mining, etc.).
Previous Experience
During his earlier executive search affiliations with Heidrick & Struggles and Korn Ferry International, Andy held leadership roles that included co-managing the industrial practice for four years and leading the Global Natural Resources & Chemicals practice for 10 years.
In addition to his extensive search experience, Andy brings more than 20 years of management experience in the agricultural, energy and oil & gas, chemicals, and mining industries to his search practice. While at Olin Corporation and Occidental Petroleum Corporation, Andy’s responsibilities included mergers and acquisitions, business management, manufacturing and supply chain, engineering, and technology.
An active member of various energy and chemical associations, Andy has conducted leadership development programs and authored leadership articles for numerous management publications.
Education
Andy earned both his Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering degrees from Cornell University.
