Position Summary 

OakView Group (“OVG”) is seeking a Senior Vice President,Hospitality and Operations (the “SVP”) to lead its food and hospitality operations across Mexico. This senior executive role offers a unique opportunity to quickly scale a critical operating region for OVG, driving long-term impact on the organization's strategic growth in the area. The SVP will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and hospitality operations, with a focus on operational excellence, service innovation, business performance and the highest client satisfaction. This innovative leader will bring extensive industry experience, strategic vision, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in complex and fast-paced environments.

TheSVP will serve as the executive leader for the region in a time of hyper-growth and scaling: in just over a year, the region has expanded to 14 locations in 5 cities across the country. The SVP will lead a strong venue-based operational team and continue to develop the infrastructure of OVG Mexico to support the continued scale and performance at both the regional and venue-level.

TheSVP will be charged with setting and executing the strategic direction, overseeing financial performance, and building strong trust-based relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.This leader will ensure operations are tightly aligned with organizational priorities and are positioned to support long-term business goals in this region. The ideal candidate will bring sharp business instincts, a proven operational track record, and the ability to lead through influence rather than authority. They will thrive in complexity, embrace ambiguity as a space for innovation, and lead with a forward-thinking, people-centered approach. Duties and Responsibilities:

BusinessLeadership & Team Management:

  • Lead the OVG Mexico management team in the daily operations of the business, including finance, sales and marketing, kitchen, health and safety, and functional operations reporting.
  • Enhance communication channels and promote a culture of collaborative accountability in operations by establishing a clear vision and defining shared performance metrics for the organization and its partners.
  • Develop a high-impact leadership team through talent management and active performance management.
  • Prepare and report annual budgets, monthly operating results, and division forecasts in conjunction with FP&A.

OperationalExcellence:

  • Maintain and continuously improve operating standards and programs to guarantee consistent quality of products and services, adhering to company requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies in Mexico to effectively mitigate operational risks.
  • Optimize all aspects of the operation that impact internal and external experiences, including employee recruitment and training, workplace culture, customer service delivery, ambiance, product selection, presentation, and overall quality.

Customer/ClientEngagement:

  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through a customer-centric approach and high-quality operating practices and robust standards.
  • Serve as OVG Hospitality's primary point of contact with customers, maintaining strong and positive relationships with clients and strategic partners.

StrategicPlanning & Business Growth:

  • Create and execute business plans for the division to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Keep a pulse on the latest industry trends while identifying strategies and opportunities. Work closely with OVG Business Development to grow the core business by leveraging OVG relationships and synergies.
  • Align and operate the division to maximize shared services/functions within OVG Mexico and capitalize on system and program efficiencies.
  • Guide the company's sales and marketing strategies, including critical brand management and positioning.
  • Serve as a key spokesperson and representative for the brand and division to the industry and external customers, as well as internally within OVG organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, culinary arts, food service management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of diverse experience in catering, food service, restaurant/café, retail, and hospitality operations, including multi-unit portfolio management.
  • Deep operational knowledge of the food service and hospitality industries, with a strong focus on excellence and efficiency.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in managing operating budgets, forecasting, capital planning, and operational KPIs.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Experienced in contract negotiation; union experience required.
  • Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction while achieving revenue and performance goals.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with POS systems.

Salary

$190,000- 250,000 USD+ Bonus
