Founded in April 2023, Leo33 is an independent music label based in Nashville, Tennessee. Its mission is simple: “Artists & Music First,” putting creative vision and artistic integrity at the core of every decision, from A&R and production to marketing, distribution, and promotion.
The label launched its presence with flagship artist Zach Top, whose debut single “Sounds Like the Radio” arrived in January 2024, followed by his first full-length album Cold Beer & Country Music in April 2024. Since then, Leo33’s roster has expanded to include Jenna Paulette, Ashland Craft, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Trey Pendley, and Clay Street Unit.
Leo33 blends the infrastructure and reach of a major label with the agility and focus of an indie, offering artists transparent partnerships and collaborative support. The name itself draws from the constellation Leo and the 33 RPM vinyl LP, symbolizing bravery, timelessness, and a deep respect for the history of recorded music.

Position Summary
Leo33 is seeking a Senior Vice President of Marketing (“the SVP”) to lead the company’s global marketing strategy, driving the creative vision, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives for their frontline roster of recording artists. This role blends artistry and analytics, combining a deep understanding of music culture with strategic acumen to develop and amplify Leo33’s artists on a global scale.
The Senior Vice President of Marketing plays a pivotal leadership role, working closely with artists, managers, Leo33’s internal departments, and external partners to shape and execute comprehensive marketing strategies. This individual is responsible for overseeing all aspects of new music release planning from concept through execution, ensuring each campaign is aligned with the artist’s vision and the label’s commercial goals. The SVP develops innovative and data-informed marketing and artist development initiatives that build audience engagement, strengthen fan relationships, and expand reach across global markets. Through strategic planning, creative storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration, this role drives visibility, impact, and sustained revenue growth for Leo33’s roster of artists.
Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for artists’ music and music-related products, including singles, EPs, albums, music videos, visual content, merchandise, and D2C initiatives.

Lead cross-functional teams and partners to develop and execute cohesive, results-driven sales, marketing, communications, and content strategies for each artist and release.

Foster alignment and transparency across departments by proactively communicating goals, updates, and project performance to internal teams, artist management, and external partners.

Serve as the primary liaison with artists and management to shape and deliver comprehensive commercial and marketing strategies that drive visibility, engagement, and revenue.

Lead strategic planning and release meetings, aligning internal and external stakeholders to execute flawlessly across all phases of the campaign.

Analyze streaming, sales, radio, and social performance metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and refine marketing tactics in real time.

Guide partners in evaluating and forecasting market opportunities for each artist and/or product release.

Develop and activate creative marketing ideas that amplify artist exposure and deepen fan engagement through performances, grassroots marketing, collaborations, promotional appearances, and more.

Build and manage detailed campaign timelines, aligning all contributors around key milestones and ensuring accountability for deliverables.

Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring strategic allocation of funds and responsible financial oversight.

Oversee end-to-end asset creation and delivery, ensuring campaigns launch on schedule, on budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Direct the development and execution of content strategies, including music videos and creative assets, ensuring consistent brand storytelling and timely delivery to all marketing channels.

Provide account management teams with up-to-date marketing and sales intelligence to drive informed conversations with partners and platforms.

Prepare and circulate weekly performance analyses to keep stakeholders informed and identify optimization opportunities.

Manage and mentor internal and external Marketing teams, including Project Directors and Product Managers, to ensure clarity of vision, operational excellence, and professional growth.
Required Qualifications

Microsoft Office and Google Workspace required; familiarity with analytics and project management tools preferred.
Background Qualifications

10+ years of marketing leadership experience in the music industry, with a proven track record of driving sales, audience growth, and revenue.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field preferred.
