The SeniorDirector of Marketing and Product Management (“theSenior Director”) will bea key strategic leader within Position Music, driving the creativevision, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives for theirfrontline roster of recording artists. This role blends artistry andanalytics, combining a deep understanding of music culture withstrategic acumen to develop and amplify Position Music’s artists ona global scale.
The idealcandidate will bring a deep passion for music, a robust industrynetwork, and a proven track record of building artist brands,expanding audiences, and driving meaningful engagement across digitaland traditional platforms. The Senior Director thrives in anentrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, and is equally comfortablecrafting high-level marketing strategies and rolling up their sleevesto execute impactful campaigns.
In this role,the Senior Director will directly product manage 1–2 key artists,overseeing every phase of their release cycles from strategydevelopment to campaign execution. Additionally, they will lead andmentor a team of 3+ Product Managers, each supported by a DigitalProduct Manager, ensuring best-in-class marketing and creative outputacross the roster. Collaboration will be central, as the Directorwill be expected to work closely with A&R, Creative, Publicity,Synch, and Digital teams to create cohesive, artist-driven campaignsthat cut through culture and drive discovery.
The SeniorDirector will bring multi-genre expertise and an ear for artistdevelopment across Alternative, Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Pop, andElectronic genres. They bring both strategic vision and creativesensitivity, understanding how to tell compelling artist stories,leverage data-driven insights, and nurture long-term fanrelationships.
