The Senior Director of Marketing and Product Management (“the Senior Director”) will be a key strategic leader within Position Music, driving the creative vision, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives for their frontline roster of recording artists. This role blends artistry and analytics, combining a deep understanding of music culture with strategic acumen to develop and amplify Position Music’s artists on a global scale.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for music, a robust industry network, and a proven track record of building artist brands, expanding audiences, and driving meaningful engagement across digital and traditional platforms. The Senior Director thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, and is equally comfortable crafting high-level marketing strategies and rolling up their sleeves to execute impactful campaigns.
In this role, the Senior Director will directly product manage 1–2 key artists, overseeing every phase of their release cycles from strategy development to campaign execution. Additionally, they will lead and mentor a team of 3+ Product Managers, each supported by a Digital Product Manager, ensuring best-in-class marketing and creative output across the roster. Collaboration will be central, as the Director will be expected to work closely with A&R, Creative, Publicity, Synch, and Digital teams to create cohesive, artist-driven campaigns that cut through culture and drive discovery.
The Senior Director will bring multi-genre expertise and an ear for artist development across Alternative, Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Pop, and Electronic genres. They bring both strategic vision and creative sensitivity, understanding how to tell compelling artist stories, leverage data-driven insights, and nurture long-term fan relationships.
