POSITION SUMMARY
Serves on the Executive team within the University Athletic Association. This position is charged with identifying, developing, and executing integrated strategies to enhance and maximize revenue streams through marketing, ticketing, sponsorships, licensing, Gator Boosters, merchandise, concessions, NIL opportunities, and special events. This senior leadership role works in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth, support the student-athlete experience, and align with the mission and goals of the University Athletic Association.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field*
- Eight (8) years of related work experience*
- Six (6) years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Demonstrated success in creating significant and sustainable revenue streams, managing diverse revenue portfolios, negotiating high-level sponsorship agreements, and leading cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinker and executer with strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of NIL landscape, fan engagement trends, and present-day athletic department organization and operations
- Ability to foster relationships with corporate partners, donors, alumni, and other key stakeholders
- Ability to work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in relevant field
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of listed requirement.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises: Senior and Associate Athletic Directors overseeing the areas under the CCO purview
Supervisory responsibilities are performed according to applicable state and federal laws and UAA Policies.
? Ensures equitable selection and hiring of qualified employees
? Manages fair distribution of work assignments and coaching employees to ensure quality productivity
? Conducts impartial and accurate performance assessments, provides continuous feedback both positive feedback and defines areas for improvement, identifies opportunities for professional development, mentors and documents performance issues and conducts timely performance improvement measures when necessary
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy to increase and sustain athletics-related revenue.
- Develop and manage Name, Imagine, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities department-wide in alignment with institutional, conference and other applicable rules.
- Lead the development and execution of revenue-generating special events (e.g., concerts, non-athletic programming) to optimize venue usage and revenue potential.
INTERMITTENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Other responsibilities or special projects may be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.

- Noise levels range from quiet to high during practices and athletic events

At-Will Employment: Employment with the University Athletic Association, Inc. is considered at-will, meaning that either the employee or the organization may end the employment relationship at any time and for any lawful reason, with or without cause or notice. This at-will status cannot be modified by any supervisor or manager and may only be altered through a written employment agreement signed by the Director of Athletics.
