Client: Cloud-Based Automated Payment Solutions Company

The context:

A cloud-based automated payment solutions company had a global need (U.S., Poland, Netherlands) for outplacement. The company had never used outplacement services before, however, ZRG's contact knew the value of career transition services, and because it was a large downsizing, recognized the need to offer support to all employees.

The company was reviewing several options for different providers to help them with their global needs.

The client’s need for quality service and speed was important, as was their concern to keep the company’s brand integrity. During a consulting call with ZRG, the client also decided that they wanted to provide support and resilience/change management training for their remaining employees.

Noting the client‘s need for a tight turnaround, ZRG submitted a proposal of outplacement services solutions within one business day.?

Our approach:

Understanding the client’s need for speed, quality, and pricing during their challenging time, ZRG offered a unique solution where all of the outplacement programs, independent of outgoing employee’s level, were delivered until people landed in a new role. Our approach also included:

  • Notification planning assistance, messaging, guidance, and planning checklists
  • Two virtual resilience programs; one hosted for remaining leaders at the firm, the second hosted for remaining employees that covered:
    • Understanding the context for change (i.e., how and what you’re going through)
    • Learning resilience strategies for navigating the change
    • Identifying action items to help individuals navigate through change
    • Identifying action items to help leaders lead their team(s) trhough the change

Results

  • 59 individuals referred?
  • 40 engaged in our support?
  • 100% of the engaged candidates would recommend our services to others?
  • 2 virtual resilience sessions run with very positive feedback from participants and the client?
  • Individuals landed new jobs 2.4 months faster than the Bureau of Labor Statistic‘s average time to land during the same period.?
