The completed integration follows ZRG’s acquisition of Sucherman in 2021, enhancing the larger firm’s capacity in entertainment industry and media executive search. Over the following years, the two firms were knit together, ensuring a seamless experience for clients worldwide.

A Tradition of Excellence

Stuart Sucherman founded the company in 1985 to provide advisory and search services to a wide range of leaders in broadcast and cable television, filmed entertainment, news and sports. Prior to the founding of the company, Stuart was instrumental in establishing the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) and was the Executive Director of the Media and Society Seminars at Columbia University School of Journalism. Erik Sorenson, former President of MSNBC and former Executive Producer of “CBS Evening News” who joined the firm in 2010, stepped up in 2014 as CEO, while Sucherman remained onboard as Chairman. Under Erik’s leadership, the company successfully extended its reach into tech-focused entertainment brands.
