Sue Hardek joined ZRG Partners in 2022 as a Managing Director in the Marketing & Growth Officers and Consumer Practices. She is a retained advisor to CEOs, Boards, and Private Equity investors on consequential commercial C-suite hires, including Chief Marketing, Digital, Growth, and Commercial Officers. Her work spans digitally native consumer brands scaling for what’s next, and established companies navigating digital transformation and new models of growth.

Sue brings more than 20 years in executive search and over a decade of HR operating experience inside digital businesses. Her expertise is rooted in digital commerce, including DTC, eCommerce, subscription, and omnichannel, giving her a practitioner’s understanding of how growth strategy, organizational design, and leadership requirements evolve based on a company’s stage of digital maturity.

Prior to ZRG, Sue was a Managing Partner at Talentfoot leading their Media, Marketing and Digital Experience Practices. She also spent more than a decade in executive HR and operating leadership roles at Digitas and Manifest Digital, helping scale each organization through significant growth, acquisition, and successful exits. In the early days of her career and the digital age, Sue founded two executive search firms and led the Technology Practice for a regional executive search firm.

Sue earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University. Based in ZRG’s Chicago office, she enjoys spending time with her teenager and large extended family cheering on Chicago sports teams.
