In 2023, Stephen assumed the role of Managing Director at ZRG following an impactful tenure as the Financial Officers Practice Leader at Pearson Partners International. With over 30 years of experience spanning diverse industries and global landscapes, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role.While Stephen is adept at navigating the complexities of Fortune 500 environments, a significant portion of his career has been devoted to private enterprises, including owner-operated businesses, those backed by private equity, and family offices. His professional journey includes entrepreneurship with his executive search firm, roles at D. E. Foster Partners and Robert Half International, and prior experience as an auditor at KPMG and Arthur Andersen. Stephen has also held CPA licensure in both Texas and Tennessee, giving him a more thorough understanding of the complexities within the roles of finance and accounting.Beyond his corporate endeavors, Stephen actively contributes to boards and community service. Currently, he lends his expertise to the advisory boards of Broadway Dallas as Board Chairman and the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance, affiliated with the University of Texas system. He is also has been a dedicated member of the Board of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox ChurchStephen has also spent many years mentoring Cox Business School students at his alma mater, SMU, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration.
