Sean Magee is a highly respected executive in both collegiate and professional football, with 15 years of high-level leadership, expertise in strategic personnel management, talent acquisition strategies and financial modeling.

As Vice President, Coach/GM Solutions, Sean partners with Managing Partner Chad Chatlos in ZRG Turnkey’s specialized practice focused on identifying and placing Head Coaches and General Managers across the landscape of intercollegiate athletics and professional sports. Additionally, Sean consults directly with collegiate leaders of both football and basketball programs to provide data-driven, best-in-class General Manager operations for navigating the complexities of the modern NIL era.

Prior to joining ZRG Turnkey, Sean served as the Senior Associate AD/General Manager for the University of Michigan Football program from 2024-2026, after his tenure as Chief of Staff for the Chicago Bears from 2022-2024. Earlier. Sean spent fiver years as the Associate Athletic Director for Football at Michigan, helping lead the roster acquisition strategies and staffing model that resulted in unparalleled program success.

A 2004 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Sean studied economics and excelled on the football field. After serving as a decorated Naval Officer for eight years, he began his executive career as the Director of Player Personnel at his alma mater. Magee additionally holds an MBA from the College of William & Mary.
