Sarah Deckey is a Principal in ZRG's Consumer Practice, bringing more than 20 years of experience spanning executive search, operating leadership, strategy, and financial analysis.

Before joining ZRG, Sarah built a career that crossed global executive search firms, private market advisory, in-house leadership recruiting, and senior operating roles within leading consumer brands.

Sarah advises clients across consumer, retail, apparel, beauty, luxury goods, and business services. Her experience includes executive search leadership roles with Korn Ferry, WeWork, and Skillcapital, where she led searches and talent advisory engagements for public companies, family-owned businesses, and private equity firms and portfolio companies. Earlier in her career, she held senior strategy and operating positions with VF Corporation, Kellwood, and The Donna Karan Company, and spent four years in equity research at Citigroup covering the apparel and footwear sectors. This combination of operator, investor, and search experience allows Sarah to bring a multidimensional perspective to leadership assessment and executive talent decisions.

Sarah is based in the New York office. She holds a B.A., cum laude, in East Asian Studies from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. A dual U.S. and U.K. citizen, she brings a global perspective to her work with clients and candidates.
