Pilar Muñoz is a Managing Associate at ZRG, based in Madrid. She plays a central role in the execution of senior-level search mandates, leading talent identification, research strategy, and candidate assessment. Pilar is known for her rigor, attention to detail, and ability to identify and evaluate leadership talent across complex markets.

Pilar brings more than two decades of experience in research and talent mapping. She began her career in market intelligence, joining Euromonitor International as an in-country analyst for Spain, where she developed sector-specific research and trend analysis. She later joined Blacksmith in 2005, where she became a key contributor to executive search delivery, working across a wide range of senior mandates including CEOs, investment bankers, and global functional leaders in financial services.

Over time, Pilar expanded her role to include operational leadership responsibilities, contributing to internal process development, reporting, and the continuous improvement of search execution quality.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Philology.

Outside of work, Pilar enjoys traveling, wine, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
