Paul Viola
Managing Director
Paul is a Managing Director in the global private equity practice and a member of the human capital practice at ZRG. He specializes in placing senior executives for private equity and venture capital firms, as well as their portfolio companies. Paul has advised Founders, CEOs, investors, and boards on leadership talent and human capital strategy across all stages of growth—from inception to exit.
Prior to ZRG, Paul led global portfolio executive recruiting and built and oversaw the CXO Network at B Capital Group, an $8bn AUM multi-stage investment firm. He has also served as a Senior Consultant at Korn Ferry, where he was a founding member of their private equity human capital practice, focusing on executive searches for pre-IPO and publicly traded companies.
Earlier in his career, Paul worked at Heidrick & Struggles, leading C-suite assignments across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC.
He began his professional career with the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League in Scouting, Analytics, and Hockey Operations.
