Melissa Oszustowicz is a Managing Director at ZRG Partners focused on agribusiness, food, and sustainability. Her clients include Fortune 100 organizations as well as private equity backed companies. Before ZRG, Melissa was a Principal at Heidrick & Struggles and led their agribusiness and food practice for North America.

Melissa’s agricultural knowledge and experience stems from her work as the Chief Executive Officer for an agricultural risk management company, serving the United States Department of Agriculture, and other private and public clients in the U.S. Mainland and Pacific Rim. Melissa also functioned as the legal counsel for a large cacao and chocolate company and led the work for the development of a genetic repository in the US located in Hawaii. Throughout her career, Melissa has been recognized for knowledge, passion, and focus in agribusiness. She understands how technology is impacting agribusiness on a local and global scale and her network extends across government, educational institutions, and the private sector.

She earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Syracuse University College of Law, a master’s from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and government from Bowdoin College. In addition, she earned a license to practice law (inactive) in New York and California.
