Melissa is proud to be a founding partner of Jamesbeck and global co-head of the asset management practice of ZRG Partners. Melissa has focused on senior level recruitment across the investment management industry for the last 27 years. She was formerly a principal at Highland Search Group, which was acquired by TMP Worldwide. Prior to that, Melissa spent four years as an executive in the Investment Banking and Debt Capital Markets group of ING Barings in London, where she cultivated relationships with the top 100 U.K. corporations. She began her career as a financial analyst in Kidder, Peabody & Co.’s Investment Banking Analyst program in New York. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.A seasoned traveler (she’s visited 56 countries) and a lover of athletic competitions (she finished the London marathon, numerous triathlons and a few century rides), Melissa’s current goal is to improve her drum playing to be able to compete with her son. In her twenties, she spent six months in Africa building medical clinics and doing conservation work, and looks forward to the day when she can devote more time to giving back
