Melissa is a Managing Director in ZRG’s Interim Solutions & Project Consulting practice. With over 25 years of experience in talent management and recruitment, Melissa specializes in deploying interim, project, and consulting solutions to support both Fortune 100 and private equity-backed companies. She works across diverse industries, including technology, financial services, life science, consumer goods, construction, agribusiness, and sustainability. Melissa’s strengths include strategic account development, fostering client partnerships, and leading with a client-centered, data-driven approach.

Prior to joining ZRG, Melissa held leadership roles that showcased her ability to innovate and drive results. At Nelson Connects, Melissa led a team of 14 recruiters and sales professionals specializing in accounting, finance, and HR roles. She developed and executed recruitment strategies, championed diversity and inclusion initiatives, and enhanced candidate experiences. Currently at ZRG, Melissa partners with clients to build high-performing teams, providing interim senior executives such as CFOs, CHROs, Controllers, and other critical roles to support strategic and operational goals.

Melissa’s areas of expertise include interim talent solutions, senior executive engagement, and sales performance optimization. She is known for her ability to identify client needs, craft tailored solutions, and achieve measurable results while building long-lasting relationships.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from California State University, Stanislaus.

Outside of work, Melissa treasures quality time with her two children, competing alongside her daughter in Gymkhana to share their love of equestrian sports and enjoying water polo drills with her son as he practices for competitive play.
