Professional Profile ​

Leonardo is a Managing Director at ZRG, covering the Latin America region. He was part of team responsible for the company´s start up in Brazil in 2016 and currently focuses on the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Education sectors. He is also a member of these same global practices at ZRG, working together with 30 offices spread over 5 continents. ​

Experience ​

He specializes in advising C level executives and boards. In addition to traditional management and business support roles, Leonardo has extensive experience in technical areas such as regulatory affairs, market access, clinical research, corporate affairs, and academic leadership, both locally and regionally across Latin America. Throughout his career, Leonardo has served organizations with diverse governance models and ownership structures, including publicly traded companies, family-owned businesses, multinationals, and private equity–backed firms.​

Education   ​

Leonardo holds a degree in Economics and an MBA in Business Management from the Fluminense Federal University. He also completed the Advanced Program in Executive Search Consulting at Cornell University and the Generative AI Program at MIT. He is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English and advanced in Spanish.
