Lan Nguyen is a Managing Director at ZRG and a core member of the firm's Risk & Compliance Officers Practice. She advises boards, CEOs, investors, and executive teams on leadership, governance, and organizational effectiveness, helping companies navigate the growing intersection of risk, technology, regulation, and growth. Her work focuses on building the trust infrastructure that enables organizations to manage complexity and scale with confidence.

Prior to joining ZRG, Lan was a Partner at a global executive search firm and previously served as Managing Director at a female-owned boutique specializing in executive search and board leadership advisory. She began her career as an attorney in Washington, DC, advising clients in complex litigation, investigations, antitrust matters, and damages analyses, including matters involving the federal government.

Lan specializes in board, C-suite, and mission-critical leadership appointments across risk, compliance, legal, finance, technology, cybersecurity, analytics, operations, and enterprise leadership functions. She partners with organizations across financial services, private capital, insurance, financial infrastructure, and technology-enabled businesses as they navigate transformation, regulatory complexity, operational resilience, and emerging technologies. Drawing on over 25 years of legal and advisory experience, she helps clients identify leaders capable of driving performance, navigating change, and strengthening the governance, resilience, and trust required for long-term value creation.

Lan holds a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and a BS in International Relations from Georgetown University.
