Professional Profile ​

Geraldo Teixeira is a Managing Director of ZRG Brazil and is based both in the São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro offices. Geraldo is co-responsible for the company’s startup in Brazil.​

He is the Head of the Industrial, Infrastructure, and Insurance practices in Brazil and a member of the firm`s global Industrial and Financial Services practices. Additionally, Geraldo is a specialist in recruiting CFOs and other senior finance positions across all practices.​

Experience ​

Throughout his career, Geraldo has led numerous executive assessment and search projects for a wide variety of clients, including—but not limited to—large multinationals, leading Brazilian “blue chip” companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, family-owned businesses, private equity firms, start-ups, among others.​

Before joining ZRG, Geraldo was Vice President & Partner at another leading Executive Search firm in Brazil, where he worked within the Industrial & Infrastructure and Financial Services practices.​

He began his executive search career at an international player in the sector, where he managed projects across multiple industries.​

Prior to entering the search industry, Geraldo spent approximately six years at Citibank, gaining experience across several business segments and areas.Geraldo started his career in the logistics department working for Equant, currently known as Orange Business Services.​

Education ​

Geraldo holds a Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. He also attended the Advanced Program in Executive Search & Leadership Consulting from Cornell University (NY) and the Program People, Culture, and Performance: Strategies from Silicon Valley from Stanford Graduate School of Business (US).​

He is a native speaker of Portuguese and is fluent in English.
