George Williams joined ZRG in 2023 to lead the organization’s international expansion into Europe. Based in London, he brings over 15 years of executive search experience across Sport & Media.

Prior to joining ZRG, George was a Partner at Savannah Group, where he led and grew the organization’s Sport & Media Practice across Europe. He previousssly served Odgers Berndtson as an Associate, supporting the launch of their Sports Practice and leading the delivery of multiple assignments.

In his search efforts, he partners closely with clients to deliver consultative recruitment processes which provide fresh thinking and challenge industry norms. He has successfully appointed Board Members, Directors, Senior Managers, Chief Executive Officers, and other C-Suite executives to some of the leading Sport & Media organizations. George boasts a strong track record of diverse talent placements and has attracted executives into the sector from adjacent industries.

George’s clients include sports rights holders and governing bodies, international broadcasters, global sports leagues, private equity groups, Premier League and European football clubs, Formula One teams, international motorsport series, production companies, OTT streaming platforms, digital disruptors, agencies, and esports organizations. Notably, he worked on the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games for Nielsen as Business Development Manager, advising Coca-Cola, P&G, CISCO, and other clients on their sponsorship activation strategies.

George holds a BA (Hons) degree in Sociology from Newcastle University. Prior to his studies, he spent a year working at a school in Lahore, Pakistan, and a nonprofit summer camp in Virginia, United States.
