Cindy Yendell is a senior advisor in organisational culture with 25 years board level experience providing strategic counsel to leaders in public, private, and political organisations.
Cindy began her career in corporate and political communications before focusing on culture as a driver of organisational change. 20 years before the FRC published the UK Corporate Governance Code highlighting the requirement for company boards to manage and monitor their culture and even before Peter Drucker famously stated that culture eats strategy for breakfast, Cindy was working with leaders and their organisations to understand and transform their culture, turning it into a competitive advantage while reducing reputation risks.
In 2000, she co-founded LIVE Communications, a pioneering agency dedicated to aligning culture with business goals. After selling LIVE to Omnicom, she launched Unspun in 2009, which later merged with SPC to form Leonardo Advisory in 2018. Cindy’s counsel is formed not only from her breath of expertise but having co-founded two advisory firms.
She has provided strategic counsel on culture programs to public and private sector organisations such as KPMG, Oxford Instruments, Crossrail, Transport for London, as well as FirstGroup, Shaftesbury Capital and Bupa.
