Binta Patel is a seasoned finance and business leader and managing director with ZRG Interim Solutions & Project Consulting. She has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, high technology, professional services, and non-profits. She has partnered with start-ups, pre-IPO ventures, and Fortune 100 companies, delivering strategic guidance on growth, regulatory compliance, business transformations, and process optimization.

Binta’s career began in public accounting with a regional firm in Indiana and PwC in San Jose, California. She then held leadership roles at Avanti, supporting an IPO and building accounting infrastructure, and at Sun Microsystems, managing finance functions across sales, marketing, acquisitions, and ERP implementation. She further honed her expertise at Accretive Solutions and RGP before joining ZRG Interim Solutions & Project Consulting.

Binta's areas of expertise include providing interim leadership and backfills for C-suite and individual contributor roles, driving business transformations across accounting, finance, IT, and operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and corporate governance (including SEC and SOX), preparing for and navigating IPO readiness and growth strategies, managing mergers and acquisitions from due diligence to post-acquisition integration, and leading ERP implementations and operational restructuring.

As a dedicated advisor, Binta has served on non-profit boards, chaired finance committees, and supported start-ups from ideation to funding and scaling.

Binta is passionate about fostering transformation through professional and personal endeavors. She leads yoga and meditation programs to promote holistic wellness and personal growth. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring global cuisines in her free time.

Binta holds a Bachelor of Science in Business focusing on Accounting from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, inactive) in California.
