Andy Talkington is a Managing Director at ZRG Partners. With over 30 years of executive recruitment experience, Andy has conducted over 500 industrial searches for private equity, venture capital and small to large private and public companies in all global regions. His search practice has been concentrated in placing top executives in Board of Director, CEO, COO, and executive-level management positions within the broad industrial sector including agriculture, chemicals, energy, EPC, general manufacturing, mining, renewables, etc.
During his earlier executive search affiliations with Heidrick & Struggles and Korn Ferry International, Andy held leadership roles that included co-managing the global Industrial Practice for four years and leading the global Natural Resources & Chemicals practice for 10 years. In addition to his extensive search experience, Andy brings many years of management experience in the agricultural, energy, chemicals, and mining industries to his search practice. While at Olin Corporation, Occidental Petroleum Corporation and OxyChem, Andy’s responsibilities included mergers and acquisitions, business management, manufacturing and supply chain, engineering, and technology leadership. He has been active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and various energy and chemical associations. Andy has and continues to be a Director of several start-ups and non-profit organizations.
Andy earned both his Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering degrees from Cornell University.
