Professional Summary
Mike is an experienced executive and career transition coach. He recently completed nearly ten years as the Director of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Career Resource Center and has served as faculty for several of their leadership development programs. He is certified as a Career Management Fellow by the Institute of Career Certification International and brings more than 25 years of career development and human resources experience in healthcare, financial services, and academic settings. Mike is certified in the following assessments : MBTI, FIRO-B, Benchmarks (CCL 360), Extended DISC and Conflict Dynamics Profile.

Highlights from Professional Career
Mike is a senior member of the Bravanti team and a co-lead for the firm’s healthcare practice. Earlier in his career he led Career Decision, Inc., a former subsidiary of ACHE and worked in human resources with Continental Illinois National Bank. He began his career advising graduate students at DePaul University in Chicago as Assistant Director of Career Services there.
Along with providing career transition services to hundreds of executives in a variety of industries, he also developed an award-winning interviewing skills training video, and was selected by the U.S. Government to develop services for downsized medical service corps personnel.
Mike was a key contributor to the development of the firm's proprietary Q5 Shared Success Framework and led successful career development programs for a variety of client companies using this model. He also co-developed our first generation Second Act program, which helps individuals create a purposeful plan for their next chapter, whether that includes work, service, learning, entrepreneurship, or retirement.
Mike has given back to the community by volunteering as a Mentor for DePaul University's Alumni Seeking Knowledge (ASK) program, a guide with the Chicago Architecture Foundation and serves on the Board of a local non-profit organization.
Education Credentials
In addition to his coaching certification, Mike received a M.Ed., Counseling and a B.A. in Psychology from DePaul University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration. He has written numerous magazine articles on career issues and has presented at national conferences.
