Approach / Philosophy

The main driver to Lu’s coaching approach is her belief that every person has their own unique background, current situation and career aspiration. She works to assist her clients to develop an effective customized plan and strategy to uncover and assess career opportunities and to make good decisions based on their unique personal and professional needs.

Highlights from Professional Career

In addition to being a career coach at Bravanti, Lu has had several operational roles in healthcare, was an instructor for career coaching courses at Harper College, and is a Resume Editor with a prominent healthcare executive association. Lu has also been a board member with a local health foundation which supports health and education charitable agencies in the Chicago area.

Prior to working with Bravanti, Lu worked for two other human resource consulting firms as an Executive Coach, Career Transition Coach, Executive Recruiter, and Organizational Development Consultant. She began her career in the healthcare sector, progressing through senior level human resources, patient advocacy and risk management roles in acute, rehab, and LTAC  hospital settings.

Education Credentials

Lu earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois, and undertook graduate coursework in Marketing at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. She has also obtained both MBTI and Career Coach Certifications.
