Bruce Requilez is a Senior Consultant with Bravanti, North America.  He is certified as a Fellow Practitioner by the Institute of Career Certification International.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in career coaching, along with diverse experiences in engineering, community development and public education reform that helped him understand the dynamics of organizational and personal change.

Mr. Requilez operates with the philosophy that building a relationship is key to effective coaching. Active listening and authentic connection creates the best climate for learning and successful outcomes.

Highlights from Professional Career

Mr. Requilez is part of the firm’s Career Transition practice, which offers a highly personalized approach to career planning and transition services for companies, executives and other professionals.  He is a highly experienced life coach and presenter, who specializes in helping people discover their passions and career paths. He also works on larger-scale projects for the firm.

Prior to joining Bravanti, Mr. Requilez worked at The Derson Group, Ltd. and another career transition firm, providing individual coaching and workshop training sessions.  Projects included utility plants, industrial facilities and call centers.

He started his career as a design civil engineer. After his own career reassessment, he discovered his greater interest was in helping people and communities address complex issues. He became actively engaged in the Chicago community by focusing on urban church development, followed by a grassroots movement to reform public education in the city. Applying his engineering background, Mr. Requilez also worked with the Teacher’s Academy for Mathematics and Science, which helped retrain teachers and retool communities in math, science and technology.

Education Credentials

Mr. Requilez graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.
