Raj Kapoor Joins ZRG as Managing Director in Professional & Technology Services Practice

Based in New York City, Kapoor brings three decades of recruitment experience, including more than 20 years in retained executive search, advising organizations on leadership talent that drives growth, transformation, and market impact.

Kapoor specializes in placing Partners, Managing Directors, Practice Leaders, and senior sales executives across professional services, advisory, and digital engineering organizations. Throughout his career, he has partnered with both established firms and private equity-backed middle-market consultancies to recruit leaders capable of accelerating growth, strengthening client relationships, and executing transformation initiatives. He has also led C-suite searches for emerging companies focused on data management, analytics, and e-commerce.

Prior to joining ZRG, Kapoor was a Partner at Beecher Reagan and a Founding Member and Senior Partner at Kingsley Gate, where he established and led the firm's professional services practice. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions with CTPartners, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, KPMG, Scient, and NTT, giving him a unique perspective across consulting, technology, and talent advisory environments.

Over the course of his career, Kapoor has led Partner and executive searches for global professional services firms, Big Four organizations, management consulting firms, IT services and BPO providers, as well as high-growth SaaS and fintech companies. His expertise spans digital engineering, advisory services, CFO technology, data and analytics, M&A value creation, restructuring, strategy, and SaaS. He is particularly recognized for helping organizations identify and recruit transformational leaders who create measurable business value and drive sustained growth.
