Tom Pope joined ZRG as Managing Director in 2024. Tom has spent his whole career in Executive Search and brings two decades of experience in Technical Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality in the Life Sciences industry.  In addition, he has an excellent track record in the Drug Product, Drug Substance and CDMO markets and is well known in the European Pharmaceutical sector.

He has worked for a broad array of clients including publicly traded firms, PE-backed organizations and family-owned businesses where he has been privileged to consult on a multitude of leadership roles.

As the former Global Practice Lead for a boutique search firm, Tom spearheaded the exponential growth of a successful Life Science division for nearly a decade.  Tom takes tremendous pride in building environments which promote teamwork, continuous learning, and growth.

He is a high energy, solution-focused collaborator always willing to go the extra mile to succeed. His expertise and commitment to identifying and sourcing senior talent has earned him a reputation as an empathetic, trusted, and relentless partner, always collaborative, with his client’s strategic goals at the forefront of every project.

Tom earned a BA in History from the University of Birmingham

His hobbies include marathon running, cycling, and endurance sports. He is a fundraiser for non-profit that supports those coping with Multiple Sclerosis.
