Tom Arnall joined ZRG’s Interim Solutions & Project Consulting division as Managing Director in 2023 focusing on Banking, Fintech, and Digital Assets. In addition to personally founding a Fintech firm, Tom has served both a global leading interim solutions business and global leading executive search business. He combines knowledge from these experiences to offer a unique perspective in advising his clients.

He has over 12 years of experience as an executive advisor across MD, C-suite, and board-level interim solutions and executive search. He previously served as Director and Deputy Head of Sheffield Haworth’s Global Fintech Practice. In his early career, Tom worked for nine years with a leading global interim management business, ultimately overseeing their Financial Services practice.

In 2018, Tom co-founded Floan, an investor-backed consumer lending platform which pioneers flexible flight finance. He has first-hand experience of scaling a Fintech business, including fundraising, regulatory licensing, product development, go to market strategy and building a management team. Tom currently sits on the board of the business as an SMF 3.

Tom has broad experience across the global financial services sector, with a focus on banking, Fintech, and digital assets. He has advised many startups, scale-ups, and tier one organizations on a broad range of topics across the executive talent ecosystem, including all functional CXOs on both an interim advisory and search basis. Tom also has a track record of building non-executive boards and advisory boards, having hired multiple chairs for banks and fintech’s. Tom has been “down the crypto rabbit hole” for many years, serving as an executive advisor across talent and organizational design to some of the industry’s leading names in this genesis moment of institutional adoption of digital assets.

He earned his degree in Spatial Design from University of the Arts London.            

Tom is an avid watch collector. In his spare time, he can usually be found on a bike with or without a motor.
