Richard Harris is a Managing Director in ZRG’s Interim Solutions & Project Consulting practice, helping organizations close the gap between business ambition and IT execution.

Before ZRG, Richard was Fortium Partners’ Managing Partner for the East.

Richard brings deep CIO and advisory experience across public and private companies, with a track record of driving growth, improving IT performance, and strengthening operational efficiency. He has held CIO roles with Spherion, Hudson Highland Group, Spring Group, PLC, and TAC Worldwide, and has led initiatives including ERP implementations, application development, outsourcing, and data warehousing. With experience working across the U.S. and Europe, Richard brings a global perspective to complex transformation efforts, helping organizations navigate acquisitions, spin-offs, and strategic change. He advises startups, private equity-backed companies, and boards, and is known for deploying focused, high-impact teams that accelerate results in interim and fractional leadership roles.

Richard is based in Boston and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Boston College.
