Rebecca DuFault is a Principal at ZRG with nearly 25 years of experience in advancement leadership across leading academic medical centers. She works within ZRG’s education, nonprofit, and social impact practice, and is part of ZRG Aspen Leadership Group, advising institutions on leadership that strengthens philanthropy, fuels research, and advances mission.
Before joining ZRG, Rebecca spent her career inside some of the nation’s most respected healthcare and research institutions, bringing an operator’s perspective to the leadership challenges organizations face today.
Rebecca partners with boards and senior leaders to identify and recruit advancement executives who can lead complex fundraising organizations and build lasting donor relationships. She brings deep expertise in campaign strategy, donor relations, and organizational design. Her leadership roles at Mass General Brigham, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center included guiding multi-billion dollar campaign strategies and helping development teams raise more than one billion dollars annually. As Associate Vice President, she helped lead The Dana-Farber Campaign, which raised $2.5 billion dollars from nearly one million donors worldwide. Rebecca is an active mentor in the advancement profession and greatly values the importance of coaching emerging non-profit leaders.
Rebecca is based in Boston, Massachusetts. She holds a BS in Education from Old Dominion University and an MS from Long Island University. She lives in Boston and is often planning her next adventure after traveling to all seven continents and nearly 100 countries.
