Randy Schmitz joins ZRG with more than 25 years of expertise in executive leadership, executive recruiting, and human capital. As Founder of 5 technology companies and an experienced operator, he has a long history of attracting and leading top-performing teams and pioneering disruptive technologies and solutions into new and established markets.

Prior to ZRG he was a partner at Frederickson Partners, a leading retained HR executive search firm, acquired by Gallagher (NYSE: AJG), where he led GTM (Sales, Marketing, Business Development) and Client Services and expanded the firm beyond HR for the first time in 28 years. Prior to Frederickson, Schmitz held senior GTM leadership roles at fast-growth pioneers Workboard, HR Tech leader Ascendify, acquired by Radancy, Voxology, and Redwood Systems, acquired by CommScope (NASDAQ: COMM).

As a technology entrepreneur, Schmitz was a Founder of eIQ Mobility, the leading software provider of zero-emissions mobility planning solutions, acquired by NextEra Energy (NYSE: NEE), Jacent Technologies, the first natural language processing (NLP) automation platform for phone-based ordering, acquired by Pizza Hut/YUM! Brands (NASDAQ: YUM), e-commerce innovators iCommerce and Breakthrough Software, and high-end web development and hosting firm Internet Business Solutions, acquired by Entertainment Digital Network.

Schmitz has raised more than $45 million in financing and is an expert in venture capital.
