Raj Kapoor is a Managing Director in ZRG’s Professional & Technology Services practice, bringing 30 years of recruitment experience, including two decades in retained executive search. He specializes in placing Partners, Managing Directors, Practice Leaders, and sales executives who drive growth and transformation for both established and PE backed middle market consultancies spanning the advisory and digital engineering segments.  Additionally, Raj has led C-suite searches for several early stage data management, analytics and e-commerce firms.

Before joining ZRG, Raj was a Partner at Beecher Reagan and a Founding Member and Senior Partner at Kingsley Gate, where he built and led the firm’s professional  services practice. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles with CTPartners, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, KPMG, Scient, and NTT.

Raj has led Partner and executive searches for global professional services firms, Big Four organizations, management consulting, IT services / BPO companies, and several high-growth SaaS and fintech businesses. His core expertise spans digital engineering, advisory (CFO technology, data, M&A value creation, restructuring) strategy, SaaS, and analytics.  He is particularly known for helping organizations recruit leaders who accelerate growth, transformation, and client impact.

Based in ZRG’s New York City office, Raj earned his MBA in Human Resource Management from Pace University and holds a degree from St. Lawrence University.
