Preston Badgett is a Managing Director in ZRG’s Interim Solutions & Project Consulting practice. He partners with clients to deliver tailored solutions that enable them to effectively manage change, execute transformation initiatives, and accelerate business growth.

Preston has extensive experience supporting private equity firms, portfolio companies, and public companies with strategic endeavors and deploying critical interim, project, and consulting solutions across finance, accounting, business transformation, operations, and M&A.

Prior to joining ZRG, Preston spent the majority of his career providing end-to-end consulting solutions, as well as customized finance and transformation resources. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant, helping clients optimize their finance and accounting functions, manage projects, and execute acquisitions. Preston began his career at Ernst & Young, where he supported both large global and middle market clients.

Preston's expertise spans private equity, interim C-Suite, project consulting, finance & accounting, transformation, operations, and M&A integration.  
Preston holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University.

Preston loves spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their two kids, Brooks and Emma. In his free time, you can find him coaching his kid's sports, playing golf, hunting, hanging with friends, or serving with his local church.
