Lachlan Wark is a Managing Director at ZRG who focuses on the Technology, Digital, and Professional Services sectors across APAC. With over 15 years of experience advising clients on their key human capital issues, Lachlan has deep expertise assisting companies through disruptive change and helping them transform by building modern management capabilities. Lachlan has worked across the entire C-suite and is a trusted advisor to boards who seek to guide their organisations through an ever more complex global landscape.

Before joining ZRG, Lachlan led technology and digital search efforts at a global human capital advisory firm in addition to shaping the framework, content, and go-to-market approach of the firm’s local digital initiative. Earlier, he spearheaded Technology Officers search assignments and digital transformation initiatives for Asia Pacific at another global executive search firm. Lachlan began his career at an international technology business and a top-tier strategy consulting firm.

Lachlan is one of Australia’s leading search practitioners across all modern management science domains, including digital, technology, data/analytics/AI, cyber/risk, product, revenue/growth, customer-centricity, and change. He works across all industries with particularly deep knowledge of the Financial Services, Digital, Telco, Industrial, Consumer, Health & Life Sciences, and Media sectors. In addition, Lachlan has done extensive work at the board, CEO, and executive team level on the “sell side,” working with VC & PE, professional service firms, tech & digital disruptors, and the vendor community.

He earned his Bachelor of Commerce with a specialisation in Finance and International Management from Bond University, Australia, and his MBA with a focus on Information Technology and Business Transformation from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Lachlan is an avid golfer, a skilled cook, a passionate sports fan, and an enthusiastic traveller.
