Before joining ZRG, Helmut served as a Managing Partner at Fortium Partners.

Helmut brings global experience across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia, leading technology strategy, digital transformation, and operational improvement initiatives for startups to mid-cap companies. He has held senior roles including CIO at Ascend Clinical and executive IT leadership positions at Asteelflash and CoorsTek. His expertise spans cybersecurity, data privacy, AI, ERP platforms, and cloud transformation. Known for balancing strategy with execution, Helmut works closely with leadership teams to deliver ROI-driven innovation and guide organizations through complex change.

Helmut is based in the Denver area and holds an MBA from Indiana University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois.
