Garreth Ball is a Managing Director within ZRG’s Global Industrial Practice and is a foundation member of the team establishing ZRG’s operations in the Australia/New Zealand region. Garreth brings a global view of the human capital landscape to ZRG, having worked across strategic C-suite and executive leadership appointments in Europe, APAC and Australasia. With a strong reputation as an experienced search practitioner across the Industrial sector, Garreth fosters long-term relationships across his extensive global network. Quick to grasp organizational fundamentals and offer compelling strategic input, his mandate at ZRG spans all sector-relevant C-level and executive leader appointments across Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to joining ZRG, Garreth worked for Australia’s largest privately owned boutique executive search firm, where he led the transport, logistics, and supply chain practice nationally while also overseeing the firm’s Queensland office. During his 11-year tenure, Garreth successfully established the firm’s presence across the Infrastructure, Transport, and FMCG sectors.

Garreth is a specialist in the Industrial space, focused on building leadership teams across broad industrials, airports, rail, ports, utilities, and logistics. He is Australia’s preeminent search practitioner within the airport space, having partnered with all major Australian airports in their search to identify and appoint executive talent. Additionally, Garreth holds extensive cross-sector experience within supply chain and operations.

He graduated from Cape Peninsula University and has continued his personal development and understanding of the human capital landscape through his 22 years in executive search. A qualified optician in a previous lifetime, Garreth’s focus, and interest now lies in talent and leadership development and management.

Garreth is a keen sportsman who has swum the English Channel twice, played representative water-polo and now spends his leisure time mountain biking and surfing with his wife and two sons.

    Nate Frank serves as the President of Executive Search for ZRG.

    In early February 2014, Nate joined ZRG Partners LLC as part of ZRG's acquisition of New Directions Search. Nate joined the New Directions Search team in 2001 and served as President from 2012 through early 2014.

    Prior to entering executive search, Nate played professional basketball in Europe and began his career in sales and marketing in the financial services sector.

    Nate has spent a decade and a half in executive search, and throughout that time his focus has been the industrial sector. Nate's clients range from large, publicly-traded firms to private equity and family-owned businesses spanning an array of industries including capital equipment, automotive, building products, and specialty materials and chemicals. He has leveraged his expertise in Operations and Supply Chain into such industries as medical device, food and beverage, and consumer products.

    As the US industrial sector has globalized, Nate’s practice has expanded to meet the changing needs of his clients. He has led searches in Europe, Asia and South America and has a network that spans the globe. At any given time he is likely to be leading a search outside of North America. Nate has lived abroad in Dublin, Ireland.

    He has a BA from Wheaton College and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.

    Nate resides on Chicago's west side and is an avid fan of Chicago sports and of the city's vibrant music scene. He is active in leadership within his church and volunteers with organizations that provide aid to Chicago's homeless. Since 2001 he has led a week-long youth basketball camp in Northern Spain.
