Eric Barker serves as a Principal in the Financial Services and Private Equity practice groups at ZRG Partners.

With more than 15 years of experience in executive search and leadership consulting, Eric’s expertise is in  working with Alternative Investment firms to build their investment, operating, and marketing teams.  In addition to leading the Investment Professional practice, he has extensive experience leading portfolio company work across the C-suite and Board. Eric has successfully completed over 200 executive-level searches and consulting projects for both publicly held and privately owned companies across a variety of industries, including Financial Services, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Insurance, Enterprise Solutions, Software, and Tech-Enabled Services.

Most recently, Eric was a Director in the New York office at Global Sage, where he was a key member of the Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Financial Services Practice, focusing primarily on the recruitment of senior-level talent within private equity, venture capital, professional services, banking, and family offices. Eric joined Global Sage from NTT DATA Services, where he was responsible for leading the Northeast executive search team. Prior to NTT Data, he was a Management Consultant at Korn Ferry, overseeing a large-scale build-out for a top-tier Investment Management and Investment Services firm.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from Hofstra University.
