Douglas Madden serves as a Managing Director in ZRG’s Technology Practice and works in the San Francisco, California, office. He has 12 years of retained executive search experience in the venture capital and private equity sectors, specializing in sales executive placements for technology companies across enterprise software and FinTech. Douglas has represented many of the top Venture Capital, Private Equity and Publicly Traded Technology companies throughout his career.

Most recently, Douglas was a Partner with Fortra Search, a boutique search firm focused on sales leadership roles. Previously, he was a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s Technology Practice as well as Partner and Co-Founder of Renaissance Leadership, where he focused on building executive teams for technology companies. He began his search career with Lonergan Partners, a boutique search firm.

Douglas’s areas of expertise include sales, marketing, and CEO searches along with venture and private equity-backed technology companies.

He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BA in Finance.

In his free time, Douglas enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time with his son and family.
