David Dell’Aquila is a Managing Director at ZRG. With over 20 years of experience, David combines his strategic consulting and banking experience to help a wide array private equity and private credit clients and their portfolio companies. He has deep experience recruiting and working with CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, investment teams, and operating partners. In addition, David has leveraged his experience to assist top-tier strategy and management consulting firms in building out both teams and practice areas.

David brings a unique perspective, having spent nearly two decades working with private equity, private credit, investment banking, and asset management clients both side-by-side and as a consultant.

Prior to joining ZRG, David served as a Principal in the Global Private Markets Practice at Korn Ferry, the largest retained global executive search firm. Prior to executive search, David spent over 15 years in strategy consulting, working with both management teams and their portfolio executives to solve complex problems regarding organization structure, costs, and resourcing needs. Additionally, he has worked extensively in the asset management and professional services spaces. David began his career in banking, working for Bear Stearns.

David received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut and studied at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Grenoble in France.
